The Elder Scrolls: Tales of the Nerevarine

"Well..'little dog bark'...doesn't feel like something complicated...but 'dishes run away'? What that even means?"

"So, can we get started now?" Nakuma asked. "I'd really like to be normal again," she added in with a hint of sadness.

"Just make your way to town. All will become clear."

"Great, which way's the town?"

Aldarilar sighed. "So..shall we? He asked others, while moving towards exit. "Anything we should be aware of about this town?"

"Head north across the water. It's on a larger island. You should be able to see the smoke from the homes. Just watch out for any monstahs."

" 'Monstahs'? Like what?"

"Dammnit boy, quit dillydallying. Go!"

"Does it matter? If see we something we either kill it or sneak by it." Dalamus said to Aldarilar before making his way out of the shack, and started walking north.

Nakuma turned and left after Dalamus.

"Or end up someone's meal, but that's just me.." Aldarilar rolled his eyes. "Right, let's go." He followed Dalamus.

Dalamus stopped to look for a boat or anything that would get them to larger island the Redguard spoke of.

Dalamus saw that there was a rickety wooded boat just large enough to carry the group in two trips. There was also faint wisps of smoke leading from a larger island to the north, seemingly from the base of a rather large mushroom tree.

Dalamus walked up to the boat. "Well, who wants to go first?" He asked the others.

"I'll go." Aldarilar get into the boat.

"Well that's one, how about you Greeny?" He asked Nakuma.

"Yeah, you go first. I'll stay back and make sure you survive," Nakuma offered and sat down on the shore.

"What's the matter? Afraid of some water. I knew you were a coward, but this is a new low for you." Dalamus said as he stepped onto the boat.

"Let's at least be careful, lest we incite the ire of some great cheese beast."

"Oh haha," Nakuma mocked. "No, I'm not afraid of water. I'm afraid of the boat sinking half way across."

"Fine, have it your way." Dalamus said before taking the boat and heading towards the direction of the smoke.

[Make a luck roll}

Nothing untoward happened while the two rowed across the water.

"Get out, I'll go back for the others." Dalamus told Aldarilar as they reached the island.

Aldarilar climbed off the boat and looked around.

Aldarilar saw an island.

Dalamus rowed the back towards the other island.

Nothing happened.

"Look at that, you're still dry," Nakuma commented and stood up. "I hope you don't expect any payment for being a ferryman," she told him and jumped in the boat to shake it a little.

"Yeah, keep it up and I'll push you over." Dalamus said Nakuma. "Alright, one more."

Not one to be left out of misadventures! "Ill join you on said boat then!"

"off we go then." Dalamus waited for Ari to get on the boat then headed to the other island.

The boat sailed relatively smoothly, but the group in it heard a strange rumbling sound.

"Alright, off the boat and wait with the Altmer." Dalamus told Ari and Nakuma as they reached the shore of the second island. "I'll go back and get the Breton."

Nakuma jumped out and trotted off the shore.

Ari exited the raft and looked out over the water, "What was that rumbling?" She kept a keen eye on the waters.

"Doesn't matter." Dalamus told Ari as he made his way back to the first island to get Chrystyna.

Nothing happened.

Dalamus made it to the other island.
"alright, get in Breton."

Chrystyna got in the boat, "I'm not going to find the zebra dead on the other side am I?"

"Am I the only one slightly irritated, that Dalamus call us 'zebra', 'altmer', 'nord', 'breton'?" Aldarilar asked Nakuma and Ari.

"Why do you always assume the worst from me?" Dalamus told the Breton. "No, she's not dead. I left her with the Nord."

Ari shrugged slightly, "I don't care what I'm called most times."

"I don't care," Nakuma told him. "I call him Dunmer anyways."

"Optimism rarely pays off, and pessimism gets you nowhere. Realistically I could see you throwing her off the boat and holding her under with a paddle."
