The Elder Scrolls: Tales of the Nerevarine

"Oh, him?" Nakuma asked through a mouth full of bread. "He told us to come here with a fork and make chickens bark or something."

The redguard woman gasped in horror. "No! You cannot! You must not fulfill the prophecy!"

"I don't see why we shouldn't." Dalamus told the old mare. "Unless you know how to cure Green stripes and pink manes."

"OUT! Get out of my house!" the mare yelled. "Leave or I'll call the guards!"

Nakuma blinked and swallowed a mouth full of food. "Um, sorry? Why shouldn't we do this prophecy thing?"

[Combat (17) Damage (13+4)] With a blood-curdling scream, the mare transformed into a strange and malevolent looking winged beast. Her leathery wings flapped, and she lept at Nakuma, razor sharp talons passing through the armor as she raked the zebra mare across the chest.

"What's the matter my little ponies? Have you never faced a Twilight Succubus before?" the vile creature cackled. "This village has been claimed by Vaermina! Begone or I shall consume your flesh!"

[Combat 20 Damage 4+2+4 (martial artist 2) - 5(armor)= 5] Nakuma screamed and fell back, kicking her back hooves into the succubus before she knew what was happening.

"Shit!"
Dalamus fired a bolt from his crossbow at the Succubus.
(Combat Roll: 15+2=17) Crit. Damage (6+4+4-5=9)

(15 (2)) Chrystyna stabbed the monster with her silver dagger.

Ari lunged at her foe, her great sword carved a path down the enemy's flank, drawing blood.

"I have bad feeling about this..Let's hurry up outside, before that creature cause more havoc!" Aldarilar rushed to the door and went through it outside.

"You're actually going to chase it?" Nakuma shouted after him and shoved more food in her mouth.

"If it will cause more death, then yes!" Aldarilar shouted from the door.

"Yeah, like us!" the mare screamed and wiped crumbs off her mouth before standing up and looking around the home. [10]

Nakuma saw the obvious hole in the roof of the home, as well as everything else that she had noticed earlier. However; her keen sense of value drew her eyes to an ornate container sitting on a shelf to one side of the room.

Her eyes lit up and she quickly ran over and picked it up to look for a lock or any way to open it. [9]

The container had a certain heaviness to it, and upon closer inspection, Nakuma saw a strange lock unlike any other on the bottom of the box. Instead of the usual key-hole, there was instead two simple indentations, as though some sort of special utensil was needed to open the box.

Nakuma cocked her brow at the strange lock and grumbled a little before throwing away the Weak Health Potion in her bag to slip the box in with her other possessions.
She looked around again but didn't see anything new, and decided that she may as well try to figure out whatever job they were supposed to be doing while Aldarilar distracted the succubus outside.

The mare walked out and looked around for the nearest non-monster townsperson. [2]

Outside, the townsfolk were screaming and running to their homes as the guards shot arrows at the beast, trying to chase it off.

Nakuma saw a shiny rock on the ground at her feet.

Nakuma bent over to pick up the rock, but stopped when the memory of what happened last time returned. She quickly stepped away from it and started chasing after townsfolk and trying to get their attention.

Chrystyna was realizing that without her magic all she was pretty much useless. The silver dagger Suleen had given her was a fine weapon, but she was no warrior.

She looked for some way she could help her comrades. (1)

Chrystyna noticed that Nakuma had a deceptively nice plot.

Aldarilar pushed the door open, walked outside and looked around, trying to find succubus. (7)

The Succubus had flown off, nowhere to be seen, but Aldarilar had a felling that the beast would return.

With sighs of relief Aldarilar looked around for anyone who might've need some healing treatment. (2)

Aldarilar saw that his companions had only received minor injuries, and were fine for the moment.

With relieve, Aldarilar approached his companions.
"The beast retreated..might return though, but from looks of it, no one died or got hurt."

Nakuma gave up her chase of the townsfolk and walked back to the others. "Now what?"

"I'd say we do our thing here and get out of here as fast as we could." Aldarilar suggested. "Any idea on ho doing this?"

"I think it involves that fork, right?"

"Yeah, THE BIG REASON we're here." Aldarilar sighed. "But that summoning ritual or something makes no sense!"
"Though since it's Mad God's 'thingy' I think it's actually make sense to not make any sense...forget what I've said, I think I'll go crazy by the end of this adventure."
